AVAYUGA ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use avayuga.com.
1. Information We Collect
AVAYUGA collects only the information you provide voluntarily, such as birth details (date, time, place of birth) entered for astrology calculations. We do not require account registration for public tools. If you contact us by email, we may retain your email address and the content of your message to respond to your inquiry. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and performance monitoring. This data is not linked to personal identities.
2. How We Use Your Information
Birth and location data you enter is used solely to compute the requested astrological results (Jathagam, Panchangam, Rasi Palan, etc.). We do not store birth data on our servers beyond the duration of your session unless you explicitly save a chart. Server log data is used to maintain website security, diagnose technical issues, and understand aggregate usage patterns.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
AVAYUGA may use browser local storage or cookies to remember your language preference, saved charts, or display settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You may clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings without affecting the core functionality of the site.
4. Third-Party Services
AVAYUGA uses the following third-party services: • Google Fonts — for Tamil script rendering (no personal data shared) • Anthropic Claude API — for prediction text generation (only anonymised astrological parameters are sent; no personal details) We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.
5. Data Retention
Session-based input data is discarded when you close your browser. Saved Jathagam charts are retained in our database only for as long as you maintain a registered account. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, after which they are permanently deleted.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@avayuga.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
All data transmitted between your browser and AVAYUGA is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). API payloads are additionally encrypted with AES-256-GCM end-to-end. We follow industry best practices to protect your data.
8. Children's Privacy
AVAYUGA is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of AVAYUGA after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
